It is our responsibility to teach people how to treat us

When most people think about life, they think in terms of events.  We all experience events like taxes and death.  While there is nothing we can do about the events, there is a great deal we can do about the process of taxes and death.  In terms of taxes, we all need to work in order to survive in a world of capitalism; that is just a fact of life.  It matters little if we are employer or employee, work is what we do and not who we are.  When this line is crossed, managers and staff experience the events of work as personal threats.  This then becomes a problem.

In consideration of life lived, we all share one human experience.  Marking our one experience at life by events may or may not set the stage for future resentments (or at least current perspectives of lost power of control) rather, how we respond to events will.

Do you surrender your personal power of control to the events you face, or do you embrace your personal power of control to functionally cope?  Surrendering control will result in varying degrees of helplessness, hopelessness, despair, and distress; in effect: a self-defeated you.   The fact remains that you are the one allowing this to happen, and it is up to you to teach people how to treat you.  Selectively and alternatively embracing your emotional control will indeed result in a more realized competent and independent; an empowered you.

I have the dots, will share those dots and as a team, we will connect the dots necessary for you to realize a self-fulfilling, rewarding, balanced, and challenging life.  All you need to do right now is reach out.  I will take it from there.  Contact me, Peter at: peterstone@MyDiscover.org or call 603.702.0117 and together we will set up a plan that will fit  your personal needs.
